NW UAV Propulsion Systems, in an effort to improve our products and develop new markets, continues to invest in research and development. Currently we have the following projects in work: Exhaust Analyzer, Small Engine Turbocharger and FADEC (Full Authority Digital Electronic Engine Control)

Small Engine Turbocharger

The turbocharger will allow the small engine to operate at altitudes previously unavailable to un-modified engines. It opens up new possibilities for the UAV industry: airplanes flying higher, further, and using less fuel than before.

NW UAV is developing a working model of a turbocharger. The picture below shows one current design.

FADEC (Full Authority Digital Electronic Engine Control)

Development of the FADEC is continuing with a large U.S. defense contractor.
